recovery CD

Morning all,

am having massive problems with my laptop and a complete reboot seems to be the only solution (plus theres lots of rubbish on there)

Now the problem - I cant find the recovery CD! does anyone happen to have the correct cd lying around or know where I can buy one? I have tried googling a solution but to no joy.

The laptop is an EIsystem 4413

thanks in advance

In most cases you have to get in touch with the manufacturer, but you could try ebay or staples, curry's etc.

This is where to order the CD's from:

http://www.pcservicecall.co.uk/recoverymedia/

This will get you the 'Ei System recovery CD version 2' (which is a generic disk to the range). And also the 'Suppliment Disc' (Specific to your model).

Unless the harddisk has been formatted the 'Suppliment Disc' should NOT be required as this info is also stored on the harddrive and used during the recovery.

So if it hasnt been formatted anyones 'Ei System recovery CD version 2' from the same sort of era should work on your pc too.

On monday I can see if I can get a copy of this disc if you like. (though if you need both CD's it less likely I'll be able to get the second cd)

cheers Steve, that would be great, £30 sounds a bit steep for a few drivers!
