it has appered on my pc desktop and i have never heard of it.
i it some kind of search engine???
or just some crap my kid have found.

Its peer to peer file sharing software. Allows you to download lots of free stuff from other peoples pcs.

Probably something the kids have put on to get hold of some music or software.

its very useful so long as you have got antivirus software installed, you can get free ones off the internet but a word of warning, stick with either microsofr/well know brands for free stuff because quite a few of the more dodgy ones actualy put viruses on your PC instead of getting rid of the,

with those kind of downloads quite a few viruses get attached allong the way but a antivirus should sort that right out
