google earth
Greetings , is there any thing better thank google earth.
Looking for somthing that will zoom in better as google does not zoom in with enough quality.
Ideally looking for a free download!

just looked at flashearth.com the picture of my place is exactly the same as on google earth, at least 7 years since I sold the caravan in the pic.

Remember Google don't take the images, they can only use the ones that are available to them.
If you're not living life on the edge you're taking up too much room.

I should think they all use the same pictures - the cost to generate them must be pretty massive. They are taken by planes flying overhead at
relatively low speed and low height, and it has to be done on a clear day.
If you want a high resolution aerial picture of your own house you can commission one, but it will not be Locost

Multi map images are excellent, plus you can overlay a map on them. By comparison Google Earth is very poor.

That explains a lot, i had assumed they were satellite images so wondered why the two ends of a bridge were at such different angles! Obviously a
lower view.
