Resizing a photo
Totally off topic but you can usually get a sensible answer to most things on here.
Basically someone mailed a photo to my pc which is huge 2.6mb to be precise. How do I resize it on the pc to a more sensible size as I want to mail it
to someone but my pc says its too big. Hope this makes sense can anyone help me out??

Hello Grass,
I use (and so do many others too) PixResizer.
It's free and really easy to use and can also do a job lot at the same time!

(Edited to hide the fact I can't even spell a simple three letter word)

Microsoft PowerToys Image Resizer so easy to use i wouldn't be without it!
Just install it right click on the picture you want to resize and select resize.

Is it a huge file size because it's a massive pic, or becuase it's been saved in an uncompressed format (most probably bmp)? If it's
a bmp just open it up in paint or similar and save it as a jpg file.
