Nearly there BUT
Ok so after a bit of mucking around I'm at this point and Struggling for a solution.
Compaq Armada 1540 Laptop spec as previous post.
Upgraded to windows 98se. It's working BUT the screen size is small (you can fill the screen using Fn+t) but the resolution is a bit crap.
Anyone got a fix??(drivers etc and adator drivers are up to date)
FINALLY managed to get wirless pcmia card to work BUT each time I insert the card the computer does a restart etc in safe mode. If I insert the card
before turning the machine on it powers up the card and then locks?? solution??
If I plug it in after power up it restarts machine and gets to the point it will work (sometimes need to do this 3 or 4 times).
It's not a huge problem as I now have megatune on the laptop but it'd be nice just to have everything just working as it should especially
the screen size/resolution.
If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

i think you will find its a bios setting, cant be more specific im afraid but am pretty sure its in there somewhere
