Photoshop isn't free but it is an excellent program. I'm a bit of a pro and I must stress that its not easy to get to grips with at first. I've been using it for a few years now and I'm sure I still don't know the half of it.

If all you want to do is play with stickers then you really want to use the easiest program you can get your hands on. Photoshop is far from that.

Example below...

GIMP, it's free and similar to photoshop.

As he said...Photoshop is a pro. program....If you don't know what you are doing it can take AGES to do simple tasks...

Have a play with GIMP....Its a much simplified photoshop type product under GNU...so its free.. http://www.gimp.org/

Failing that, google picasa is acceptable...

After photoshops 30 day trial period, there are 'methods' to 'extend' your trial

I got it a couple of months ago, and it really is a fantastic programme. Try to do some tutorials, or (as the above have said) the steep learning curve will be very frustrating.

I'm a 'pro' user of Photoshop too and I would say give it a go - don't try and use it without any kind of tutorial help though or you'll never understand what's going on! TBH I struggled for ages at first even with the tutorials you find on the internet then I bought a book called 'Classic Photoshop Effects' by Scott Kelly and after going through the first 3 or 4 examples in the book it all (or the important bits at least) clicked into place. Gimp is OK, and actually does some things better than Photoshop, but I find it more confusing to start using than Photoshop.

'How To Cheat In Photoshop' by Steve Caplin is another good book to get started with btw.

I use Gimp on my Linux and Windoze boxes - most of Photoshop's functionality at zero cost.

True zero cost - no 'trials' or funny licences.

I've been using GIMP for about a month and after a few issues associated with basic tasks that differ from PS and PSP I'm really chuffed with it. And it's free!
