hi all looking to buy a laptop. any ideas where to buy from and what model looking to spend £300 to £350. cheers

The budgtet toshiba units are pretty good. U300/L300 I think..

Bought one for my sister recently...

Not any help to you, but if you are a business user...if your tosh laptop has to go in for waranty repair, they will fix the laptop AND give you your money back..... Says a lot about their build quality!

Staples seem to have a couple of decent dual-core laptops on offer at around your price range.

AMD Toshiba laptop

www.mcscom.co.uk They sell returned dells eg they have a slight mark or customer did not want it and cant be re-sold. Very Cheap and most come with full dell warranty! http://www.mcscom.co.uk/product.php?xProd=6340&xSec=37 Ummm Raptor....

EuroPC are a big cheap supplier too. Plenty here for your budget.

Out of your budget but I'd do a Dell Latitude/Tosh as previously mentioned with a 3yr warranty.
