Mrs Balls is great stuff but how does it relate in any way to marmite?

Damn you all, I missed the sarnie van today and I'm rattling so I'm going to nip down to Sainsburys for some Marmite goodness right
now!
EDIT: No XO marmite in the store! They did have the small Marmite cheeses and bread-sticks though, and they are both wonderful. Mmmm.

I just couldn't resist any longer and went to the smaller but more local Sainsburys, didn't even have it marked on the shelf (XO) yet
alone in or out of stock .......

I'm going to call into the massive 24Hour Tescos I pass on the way home I think. Until I taste it I refuse the believe they could have made
Marmite even better

I had to cut back on marmite, I needed so much in a sarnie to taste it.
She'll have to get some of this OX stuff for me
Try this:
Microwave three eggs (one whole / two whites) for 1m10secs then stir around and microwave for another 1m10secs.
Have this in a nice thick brown roll smothered in marmite.
Had that for breakfast for the last 10 years

:
Well - cheese and marmite are great together and apricot jam and marmite are great together and apricot jam and cheese are great together so to my 5
year old mind back then why not go for the triple trifecta - and it was a jackpot.

Mike.....I know Tesco stock it ... but every branch I have been to around these parts (south) have empty shelves where it should be ....
So I have yet to find some ....
But good luck in your quest ....

I finally got a pot of XO from the big Tesco Extra store I pass on the way back from work. It's certainly strong, and a nice change from the
normal stuff. I noticed there is also a Marstons Marmite in a red jar, but didn't get that.
I did go on a bit of a Marmite spree though, and ended up with the Marmite XO, breadsticks and cashews The cashews are lovely, extremely
addictive!
Fozz, if you get desperate I'd be happy to send you a jar of XO in the post!

Fair enough, but it doesn't sound very appetising
Then again my best mate at school "discovered" the joys of an apricot jam, brown sauce and cream cracker sandwich (i.e. all those
ingredients between two slices of bread).
