is it just axl left?
I expect it to be a bigger disappointment than discovering you cannot build a locost for £ 250.

Aye. Axl's got that really distinct voice too and the album starts with a long Axl style wail, then just goes downhill. Like rubbish ballads and
porn style music. Damn, why did I pull that security tag off

^^^ I heard one track last night; as you say - the axl wail, well well well over the top. Deffo won't be buying it. It is like time has stood
still for him; dunno why he bothered.

^ Guns N'Roses^ new album called Chinese Democracy. Took about 15 years to make, been through 5 guitarists and summat like 5 million dollars. I
even heard that Bryan May helped with some of the guitar but that Axl had them bits cut out

according to telegraph:
quote: Chinese Democracy is said to have cost £7 million in studio time alone to make and was as eagerly awaited by critics as by fans.
In case you were wondering, I wasn't awaiting it, eargerly or otherwise.

Gotta disagree with all the negative comments. Took a few listens to get into, but I'm very much enjoying Chinese Demoncracy. Sure its more
"Use Your Illusion" than "Appetite for Destruction"... but distinctly GnR.

Must have been quite a drug/drink fueled production process to use up so much money. Must remember to buy that for missy’s Christmas or I'll get
beaten up

Don’t know to like it or hate it. There are some good songs on it (not all, hell no) but it’s missing something. And another thing, why bothering
making a album over 15 years that’s costed 5 million dollar and not really promote it. Have not seen a video clip or interview yet! Perhaps we have to
wait for that also a couple of years, lol!
On the other hand, Gn'r made history in Rock and there for rules

Took 15 years to write it'd better be the best album in the world ever, anything that'd take me 15 years to do will be damn good

Beejeezuz mate. Your talking about it in the present tense, it was out 2 months ago. I played it again yesterday in the car. It's still rubbish.
I think if you're going to change styles then you have to do it step by step not just a huge leap into bobbins-ness!

I dunno, I thought it was quite good, perhaps not 15years good. Very different from their old stuff, but good non-the-less. I am no GnR fan either, I
am just listening to it objectively and taking it for what it is.
I love the 'its different ergo its rubbish' argument. Megadeth get the same critcism, but then a few years later when they go back to the
old style they get criticised for being repetitive and the same.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying it's rubbish because it's different, I'm saying it's different and it is
rubbish.
If everything that was different was dismissed as rubbish then we wouldn't get anywere eh

15 years to make 60 mins of music, he had better not start building a locost!

not heard but it's awful
The mental gymnastics a landlord will employ to justify immoral actions is clinically fascinating. Just because something is legal doesn't make
it moral.
