insert picture into email message?

How does one insert a picture into the body of an email message rather than attaching it as a file?

I'm using MS outlook

Cheers

Chris

Depends which version - Normally, go to Insert, then Picture, then browse to it. It's quite cunningly hidden in 2007, if that's what you're using...

When I copy and paste the picture appears as an attachment, it's a jpeg.

"Picture" is greyed out in the insert menu.

I thought it would be easy!

Hi Chris,

In Windows Mail, Picture is greyed out until you have a address entered and a bit of text. Then it's OK. Why? God knows.

Is there an option (possibly on the format menu if it exists?) to choose between HTML (Rich Text) and Plain Text?

You need to be in HTML format to include pictures in the body.
