Microsoft Outlook Question

I have a laptop. Main emails are through Outlook. i want to get a list of all of my contacts and print them off for safe keeping. Does anyone know how to do it?

Ive tried looking in address book but there are only 20 or so contacts listed. However whenever i compose a new message and for instance put 'a' in the to box a list of loads more contacts appear all starting with letter 'a'. I know i must have several hundred listed somewhere but cant find a list.

Ideally i would like to make a list in word or excel etc that i can save somewhere.

Thanks in advance,
Darren.

Are you using outlook or outlook express and if outlook what version? IE 2000 2003 XP 2007?

In more recent versions of Outlook when you have sent an email to someone in the past regardless if they are in your contact list they are available in the "to", "cc" and "bcc" field through the suggest names feature in Tools / Options / Preferences Tab / E-mail Options / Advanced E-mail Options. These will not be availabe in your contact list unless you have added them yourself.

To export and print your contact list you can go to file / export / Export to a file, click next, Select CSV (Comma Separated Values) Next again, Select the contact folder then click next again and select the save location. This file can be open in MS Office Excel or OpenOffice Calc. and printed from there.

the list you refer to is all the addresses you have used 'just types strait in.

I dont know anyway to print it out but its held in a .NK2 file in your profile on the laptop.

This can be backed up and restored to a diferent laptop if required.
