can get ps3 working threw scart cable

since my big 37" LG tv if officially F***ed i have had to result to my old 21" tv, but this only has a scart socket and not a HDMI like my LG had. my ps3 came with an adapter cable for scart socket but for some reason its not working and im not getting a picture on my AV channel

any ideas?

it's set to HDMI output. Pres and hold the power button for over 10secs and it'll reset to default

As above it will beep and then beep again I think and then reset.

My son had the same issue.

Damn it! Why were you guys not around when I first had this problem?!

I plugged mine into a HD TV and my crap SD TV at the same time and changed the settings, I had to accept them on the SD TV!

It's good to know this now! :-)
