changing information output to monitor
I am hoping someone can give me some advice for the following problem:
I want to output a powerpoint slide (only one, not a slideshow) to a monitor in a different. Not a problem.
However, on this slide I want to be able to change 2 details at various points during the day. These are a name and an associated number with the
name. This will be done by the user who is taking over.
Is there a way I can use powerpoint to have a backend where the user can change the name/number and this will then update the page being displayed in
the other room?
Or is there another way of doing this? Maybe php? Anyone able to code this for me? Or an Access database to hold details of the users/numbers and more
can be added?
Thank you in advance.

are these people going to be on, in a certain order?
make several slides, in the right order, then all the person has to do is click the mouse once, next slide shows their name

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

You could try using a web page, working from a database, configured with auto refresh.. You would need to run iexplore -k to run internet explorer
without the menu bars at the top..
If you dont want the page on the main screen, use ALT and SPACE, then select move and use the arrow keys to shift to the second screen.
Hope that helps
