Installing memory
So it looks like a need some more memory, as one of my 2gb sticks is not working.
So the question is, if I buy 2 more 2gb memory sticks, can I put 3 in for 6gb, or can they only work in pairs?

32 bit systems will only support 3GB of ram.
go to http://www.crucial.com/ and type in your mobo/system details and it will tell you what your pc can support and the price.
i'd order from there as well as you know it will work in your system and its good value for money

Yeah - but I've got 64bt Windows 7 I'll take a look at that site though .... . I know what type of memory I need DDR2 800mhz, just not
sure how if I can install 3, or just 2 or 4 sticks.
Seems like 3 is ok, but they work better in pairs ....

you should be able to put your mobo details into the site
you can pair the memory but you dont have to. check your mobo spec. just make sure its all the same otherwise it'll all run at the lowest rated
speed.
