Outlook assistance please
Ok chaps, I'm assisting my Dad with his Outlook.
2 Issues:
1. He wants to send a newsletter to his chums and he has a list of contacts in his address book. he has 67 addresses in a group and if he sends to
that group, the Talk Talk email server won't send it because it says that there are too many contacts. he has only just increased this number
which I guess is why he is now getting this issue.
2. the other problem which I think if we cracked would possibly solve the first one, is that when he has sends emails to groups, the recipients can
see all the other recipients email addresses. I know there is a way of doing this without everyone else seeing the addresses perhaps involving sending
to oneself?
So is there any way around sending to this group without splitting them into two and how do we hide all the recipients from each other?
Many thanks in advance
Cheers
Mark

1. if the message is coming back from the ISP mail server, then i dont think you can do anything about it
2. send it to yourself, and BCC everyone into the mail

You'll need to split the existing group into 2, so create two new distribution groups, called say A - M and another N - Z then as the previous
post says send the 2 separate emails to yourself and bcc in one of the new dist groups and repeat for the other group.

Must learn to read posts more thoroughly! TalkTalk have a 50 recipient limit per email. So no to answer your email.
