HELP!!! i cant get into my outlook express mail box,all that spam in there will be going off soon,its says i have the wrong password but nothing has changed,answers on a £5 note please

If your sure you have the right password, then its probably the server messing about, or you have a virus.


But knowing you, you probably changed something by mistake

yup its my compo,narrowed it down to the in/out server,in the box where you state the incoming server i need to know what to put,i,m using BT broadband if that helps

seeing as you have a btopenworld email address, bt's website says: mail.btinternet.com for both pop and smtp servers.

try checking your email at http://www.mail2web.com to see if your username and password are ok and if the server is responding. If you can check your mail online like that, then you have narrowed it down to something gone haywire with your email client.

i have started a new account with the original addy,its the in/out server settings that are playing up,at least i cut the grass today
