Computer, what to do now

Have had Tech guys out to it twice to fix both times it was graphics card. Picture whent again so took it back to PC W--ld and they sent it away, got it back it lasted 4 days. Just took it down to PCW again, while i was there they opened it up and told me it was a old grafics card and the heat sink was blocked with fluff. they are sending it away again. What should i do as i am not happy.

Graphics card wouldn't have fluffed up in 4 days unless your in a cotton factory!!

I'd recon the 1st fix was not a replacement card at all, more likely a contact cleaner on the sockets, and hope that would see the warranty out, would still have expected them to clean the heatsink though.........

If it were me I would ask for my money back and build my own.

you will get a better PC for the same cost and it's very easy to do.

I would, hope to buggery it works this time, and moan like a trooper when you pick it up angling for something free for your petrol. Maybe a nice Mx518 optical mouse.

If it fails again, assuming you have no requirement for it to be that exact PC, ask for a whole new one and start again. (maybe it wants a new mobo, maybe the power supplies a bit out, whatever, not problem)

Or that. Which is what ive always done. But thats not more plain sailing.

The built is the easy but, assuming it works first time (which basically all mine have) but i spent two months dicking around deciding which bits i want. Kid in a candy shop syndrome with nobs on.

This PC i bought for £200 from someone of a pc forum. Lasted me 6years.
Although i has has had a new graphics card, psu, ram, two hdd's, and motherboard, and it cam without any moniters. CPU and case is still origanal tho...
