What film was it
didn't see the beginning nor thevery end but some details.
think it was Al Pacino playing a retired Lieutenant Colonal, Frank(?) who is blind and abnoxious and a young kid, 20ish called Charlie.
Some vandalism incident in school that Charlie has to decide whether to squeal on his mates or not.
They go off to New York and Frank ends up test driving a Ferarri (he is blind remember) l
Ends up with Frank making speach in the school to back Charlie up by not squealing on his mates and showing integrity.
What film was it and who played Frank?

Scent of a woman ?
Tony Bond / UncleFista
Love is like a snowmobile, speeding across the frozen tundra.
Which suddenly flips, pinning you underneath.
At night the ice-weasels come...

He's not really blind, he's an actor just pretending.

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Thanks for the spoiler
No point watching it now.

Don't worry Macbeast... you ain't missing much! Awful film!
I tend to find that with just about anything with Al Pacino in it... possibly the most over-rated actor on the planet!

I like his work - Scarface, Carlito's Way.
Proper acting - no need for big explosions or Computer Generated Effects.
I like Bobby DeNero too - Taxi Driver...
