MS Access 2007 - speed problem (too fast)

I don't know how to describe problem but here goes:

I have data bases with say 25 fields and often want to temporarily move a field from say the right hand side to somewhere to the left - I grab the field with the mouse - move it to the edge of the screen on the left and then it jumps all the way to the left flying past where I want it to be and then the game is on when I move it back it jumps all the way to the right - eventually I have to move it part way left, drop it , scroll the database to the right until the field if right on the right hand side of the database then grab it with the mouse move it further to the left and repeat the process till it is where I want it to be.

Anybody know how to slow down the scroll speed.

Have a similar problem all the time I have used access, from 97 to 2007, so i select the fields I wish to move, hold down ctrl, and then use the cursor keys to move them.

I never try and move fields with the mouse, learnt from years of cursing the screen to much to have to do it twice.

but ctrl Z could be your friend if and when it flies of the screen... so you can start again

Just tried that thanks - doesn't work for some reason - Selected field, held down " Ctrl" and hit the right arrow, all that happened was that field deselected and cursor moved one field to the right, leaving the field entirely unmoved.
