Bigger Entry Box for Posts?

I dont have a massive resolution screen 2*1280*1024 but find it really tedious how small the text entry box is. Its far worse at work too, where we have a pair of high res wide screens. Everylunch time im to be seen with my face 6inchs from the screen!!

Its a fixed size box, so resizing the window doesnt change its size. Which is the main issue.

It also is maximised onto screen1.

Another fix for Stylish (for Firefox):

code:
@namespace url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml);
@-moz-document domain("locostbuilders.co.uk") {
/* Fix message box size */
textarea[name=message] { width: 100%; height: 300px; }
}

Before the clever chaps came along, I was going to suggest that you can just zoom in from the View option in the toolbar, that zooms in the whole screen.

But the solution given above looks far more professional (Not that I'd have a clue how to use it )

It looks like the Midget is winning at the moment......

Cheers!

Click on tools, then add ons, search for stylish, install, restart firefox.

Now go back to tools, click stylish, click add, enter the name locostbuilders, paste the code into the window, click preview - it should say nothing (if there are errors it writes something in red).

save.

go to locostbuilders, and add a post .... hey presto an edit window that is ....

<- approx this wide - - - - - - - - ->

(its wider than that - forgot locostbuilders condenses space button presses .... also editing your own post doesn't give you the wide edit box)

Clicking the edit button does indeed give me the wider box. Mint!

To enlarge it just hit the "Crtl " and "+ " keys at the same time

That enlarges the whole page, not just the typing box,doesn't it?
Still a good tip though

Or use Chrome that allows you to resize the box as you see fit.

I've fixed it now anyway, so no need to make tweaks.
