Any computer boffins help me set up a forum

Hi People. I run the site left-handed.com and have tried to get higher on the search engines.

Now I understand that how long people stay on your site has an impact on your ranking. If it's a bad site and they leave quickly, or you don't have what they are looking for then your ranking suffers.

So I thought I would set up a forum and I used one of the free board services.

Problem that I've got now is that people are visiting my site. Then clicking the forum and effectively leaving. This has hurt my rankings and the business enormously.... doh....

Anyone out there that can help me set up the forum actually on my site???

I've downloaded phpBB but can't get it to install. I get a permssions error from the server.

The other problem is that my service provider is UK2 net and they have got no backup or help whatsoever.

I thought I was pretty savvy but it's got me pulling what bit of hair I have left... out.

First advice is forget using UK2. Last time I looked their servers didn't support half the things they'd need to in order to run a forum.

I can sort it out as I think we discussed before. Drop me an email!
