lost my red
whilst playing solitare i just noticed that all my cards are black,had a go at colour settings on the moniter to no avail.
some of the other colours like the fox on firefox are green....any ideas?

probably your cable between monitor and pc - try giving it a wiggle, or swap it with another

yep definitely sounds like cable. Maybe you are getting too carried away on the games?
It looks like the Midget is winning at the moment......

i have removed,wiggled,inspected and had some harsh words with said cable and the cards are still black
oh well looks like a trip to pc weld later on,cheers for your input peeps

I wouldnt go to PC World, except maybe if there close to buy a cheap(?) cable to try, but certainly any pc shop should if nothing else be able to try
another cable and monitor and isolate if its pc/cable/moniter thats at fault.
A vga connector (blue moniter plug) is an analogue rgb signal, so its certainly very easy to loose a colour due to a continuity error.

pluged in my old compo and all the colours are right....must be compo then
oh well,being colour blind has it,s advantages
