Which web browser software?
I'm a bit annoyed with the latest version of firefox because it keeps hanging for 20 or 30 seconds at a time. It is a particular problem when
dropping into say web mail, finding no new messages and quickly changing to a new site. If there are several windows open, they all freeze.
What's the latest good non-MS browser?

Sounds like an addon screwing things up.

Chrome.
Occasional problems with forms, but I haven't had a problem in months.

I liked chrome, but it hangs with Flash often ("this plug-in is not responding - do you want to wait?". It works faster than Firefox (not
even mentioning IE) but that annoying flash plugin hang is enough to put me off, so back to firefox for me!

I've stuck with Firefox - didn't like Chrome. Something about the way it does stuff...

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

All our family use opera and i find it very good.
Chrome on the laptop as its steam powered and chrome is very light until you open more than a few tabs, but awful past about ten tabs an lacks the
ability to tweak shortcuts etc.

My own particular gripe these days is that in IE, which I've stuck with for years, youtube videos are extremely laggy.
I thought it was my connection speed.
Then I tried chrome.
No lag or breakup.
Not 100 % comfortable with it, but it's good for that.

I've removed old versions of Java plug in and it now seems fine. I think I'll stick with it rather than changing. The Devil you know and
all that.
