anyone replaced a screen on an ipod touch 4?

My son has smashed the screen on his ipod touch G4, i've seen a video on youtube on how to change it (screens available for £20 on ebay), it looks a bit scary, anyone done it??

One of the guys here at work did an iphone 4 following one of the youtube videos - said it was a bit of a faf, but it looked good when it was done. I've always found the guides on www.ifixit.com good for mac stuff.

£75 for send away repair, or i try it and feck it up so it can't be repaired!!
