Converting old video to DVD??
The missus has suddenly got a bee in her bonnet about getting our wedding and other family videos put onto DVD.
I suspect this could be expensive if we just go to maplins and buy a box of trickery, but is there a cheap/free method? I suspect some sort of lead
converter thing will need to be bought, but what?? video output is scart or those phono plug thingies.
Cheers

DVD Recorder
You could buy /borrow a dvd recorder and run them off scart to scart, after that you could rip the dvd to avi or mpeg and keep /play copies in your
computer.

You can probably pick up a converter for £40 nowadays, they where expensive when the first came out but with the adven of digital camcorders they have
come down in price. Pity you werent more locoa you could have borrowed mine

I used a company that came up on a Google search, if you're only doing a few it might be cheaper and a lot easier, mine cost about a tenner a
video I think.
