Wireless Hard drive Storage?

Is it possible to connect two external usb hard drives and possibly a usb printer via wifi to my laptop?
What kit do I need to buy?
Thanks in advance.

yes I use netgear kit, a regular router and a netgear readynas duo which will do as you require. Its a network attached storage unit primarily but will do what you want.

sorry re read it now and I make it sound like im peddling them. No just a satisfied customer. I researched on the netgear website and then bought from the amazon site.

these are links for the readynas, should work with any routers though.

linky for readynas duo

amazon linky

shop around though there are tons of products out there that will do what you want

Thank you.
One last question, can I make the info on the hard drives only available to my laptop? i.e my files only accessible to me and no body elses computer on my home network?

yes you can set access restrictions and also hide the share and restrict access.

like I said, read around and pare down the features to what you want.

Don't be too optimistic on the transfer speeds you will achieve over wireless though!
