HP Power Manager and e-mail alerts

Anyone know anything about HP Power Manager?

I've installed it on our Win2008 SBS/exchange server. It's connected via COM1 and can pull data from an HP T1000 UPS.

What I can't do is work out how to get the e-mail alerts system to work.

Under Event Settings I've got my work e-mail address and a yahoo one to be sure. Appreciate that with having power manager on the exchange server means it's e-mailing itself but dont see why this should matter.

Under SMTP Server I've got the IP of the server.
Under the SMTP From Address I've got my boss' email address.

What am I missing?

Under home ¦ Settings I've put my mail address in the contact e-mail in case that's something to do with it.

Still no luck.

Any ideas? This really shouldn't be a complex problem!!!

Cheers,
James
