There is no work around, its all now split into sections... brakes/bodywork/electrical etc then split into subsections....

Look under 'Car Parts' and under sub-division 'manufacturer' select 'kit car'.

eBay are doing ths all the time. whoever is in charge of category structure is a t**ser. you would think that they would recognise that for the best browsing efficiency they would sort out one layout and LEAVE IT ALONE!!

When you try to sell something now in kitcar parts, you cant... theres no option anymore.. You have to select either the subsection of brakes etc or "other car parts"... so i'm guessing they'll be phasing kitcar parts out.

I agree there is no 'kit car' subdivision under car parts any more.

But when you list items you are asked to click on 'item specifics' boxes which sort the items for buyers to search under. In 'Car Parts' there is a box for 'manufacturers' which list Alfa Romeo, Austin, Audi, .... etc. Scroll on down and there is 'Kit Car'

I do think its is a backward step, and it does annoy me when they reduce browsing categories. But the important thing is for BUYERS to be able to find items easily, and by selecting as I described earlier you will filter out all the cr*p.

message ebay and complain -

I am currently in a "live chat" with one of them explaining what a PITA it is to search for kitcar specific items now.
