Help! Solidworks won't open

I have some drawings that my solidworks 2005 won't open and I think the problem is they were made on a newer version.

Is there any free programme that will let me open them and print?

Cheers!

Solidworks update path is a nightmare, we have machines running at work, and if anyone so much as looks at the next version the rest all fall over.

Edrawings is a fix to view, but no good to do anything else, keeping SW upto date seems the only recourse.

Expensive =

As above no easy fix unless you get the people who built it on a newer version to save as Iges file, then you can import it, not great but it's better than just being able to view it in e drawings

Many thanks I had already found that programme and it did not work - perhaps there is something else wrong if it works for you I'll go back to suppliers and see if they can resave it

Ta again
