Megajolt EDIS coil pack etc etc

Hi,
I have for sale a megajolt kit that was planned for my pinto, comprises 2 EDIS 4 untis (1 spare) a coil pack, crank sensor with mounting bracket, toothed wheel, spare dizzy, and the ECU itself

Megajolt MJLJ V3 with MAP Option (TPS can be used with a few easy modifications) - Ignition Only ECU

This was originally built by Bill Shurvington a few years ago. But as the development has been made to the V3 ECU I have kept it up to date with software and hardware modifications.

It is running the latest code 3.3.1 which include switch able maps, sensor calibration and more.

Internally it is also fitted with
• AUX input circuit or a resistive type input (Temp sensor etc), This is easily changed to a 0-5v input if needed
• Hard Cut Limiter (with higher spec resistors than the autosportlabs version)
I will provide details and pinouts of for all the mod's to the buyer FOC.

Operation Guide here:

Installation Guide

£250 the lot, will be going to Stoneleigh so collect there or P&P at cost.

Cheers

What sort of difference will this make on a mild pinto (3 litre capri downdraught Weber, fast road cam) ?

Hi,
It allows you to map the ignition curve against load, the standard dizzy is mechanical and the advance curve is not going to match the cams requirements. You should get improved drive ability and more power out of your engine using this IMHO .

The coil pack alos gives out a much bigger voltage resulting in a fatter healthier spark improving setup, driveabilty and economy.

Hi
Very hard to say, if you have a std dizzy with modded cam and carbs then this will allow you to maximise the ignition map to match the modifications, so will therefore get you more power, perhaps more importantly it will enable you to improve drivability, it will also allow you to adjust the ignition map as other mods are made.
Hope this helps
