Software for notebook
I have bought a notebook pc which runs on windows 7 starter? Its good for browsing and emails but I have downloaded the Microsoft office basic which
works when you are connected to the internet as it shows adverts. Any suggestions for other office type programs which could be used instead? Tried
loading the proper office but doesn’t seem to want to know, wondered if it was something to do with the windows version.
Thanks

I know a lot who use Open Office (free download and MS compatible) on notebooks.

the free GPL software is not called Open Office anymore because of a whole pile of Software IP and software political issues to do with
Oracle buying Sun the developers jumped ship taking their code and it forked to become Libreoffice
