yahoo mail problems

I have had a lot of trouble accessing Yahoo mail over the last week or so and now I get a message saying;

"Access Denied (policy_denied)

Your system policy has denied access to the requested URL.

For assistance, contact your network support team."

I have not changed anything or downloaded any new programs.

Does anyone else have these problems or have any ideas what is going on?

Many thanks
Spider.

Has your firewall blocked the site? For a quick check momentarily disable your firewall and try again.

I have just tried that but no joy. When I go to the Yahoo home page it says I am logged in but when I try to access the mail page it comes up with the access denied message.

Sounds like a setting on your PC , have you tried downloading a different browser ie Firefox or Google Chrome, run the setup but don't import the settings from your Internet Explorer

we have 3 yahoo email accounts, and all seem to be working fine
well, they must be as the spam emails are filling up our inboxs, as per any other day!

I will try that, a little later when I am not so pi**ed off with it, spending too much time just lately trying to access Yahoo mail because of so many outages they seem to be having lately. Seems as though it must be something to do with my laptop as I can access my mail from my phone, therefore must be a setting on my laptop. although as far as I know I had not changed any before I was getting problems.

Many thanks
Spider.

Google Mail functions very nicely and the Android app is good.
