Apple scam? for apple account holders

This is a new scam that has been e-mailed to my account. Before I clicked anything I checked on the ipad and all worked well with my apple account, so is clearly a scam. Just watch out!!

its pretty simple to spot a scam. the sentence construction and spelling are very substandard. Muti-nationals always have several people in various departments check public communications before they go out.

I agree with the above. But if I get one that 'may' be genuine, I always do what you did and go to the site in question first to check my account is OK. But 99.9% of the time it will be a duffer

I knew it was a scam, as i have had communication with apple recently when I had a warranty claim on the ipad, and the e-mails were addressed to me personally. I just wanted to make others aware. My hotmail account is normally VERY VERY good at filtering junk but this one slipped their net. I would never click the link and deleted it.

Just making peeps aware!!
