Recommend me a network hard drive please
Hi All,
I need to replace my ageing USB HDD and want a NAS one which I can access remotely via the web.
Looking for 1TB of storage min. and ideally would like some way of backing it up...twin drives in the same case? Or could I reuse the USB HDD as a
back-up drive?
Not computer illiterate, but I want something that will plug in and go.
Thanks,
Nick

My zyxel 310 has been great. Works great for iTunes server, movies n photo sharing and it's a gigabit nas drive
http://www.zyxel.com/in/en/products_services/nsa310.shtml?t=p
Not so keen on my buffalo nas I have also so I'm gonna sell that one. It's an ls wxl 2gb link station.
I found it hard too ssh to it and control using the iPad as my other has zxyel iPad app.
The buffalo is supposed to be easier but not my experience

I use a netgear NASDUO, 2x 1tb drives, set up for one to mirror the other, so I have a backup of everything should the worst happen. Web interface
is pretty good, easy to use and set up. Do some googling, plenty reviews of NAS drives online.
