New clutch needed
I'm just wondering what clutch you all use in a type 9?
I've got a blacktop supercharged currently running just shy of 230bhp but the clutch slips like mad. I'm wondering if that effected the
dyno figures as well, as on the road the clutch is really bad.

I used a 1.6 Mondeo cover and plate with a 1.8 flywheel.
But, as my next one will have circa 350hp I'm looking at a upgraded cosworth (pinto) fitment.

Depends on the flywheel ?
My guess with a T9 is its a 1.8 Zetec. These where 115 ps engines as standard so no great surprise it won't hold double.
I would look into an uprated Escort rs turbo clutch or having the flywheel drilled for an uprated pinto/cosworth set up.

Uprated pinto pressure plate and organic clutch from retro ford behind my 200 bhp st170. Might not be enough for yours.

If forced induction want to be looking at torque figures rather than bhp for a clutch and then looking on a few web sites for details , helix were
good if want something to last if going to be spirited driving but getting expensive or a plate clutch region maybe
