.STEP. file to image file

Can anyone open a .STEP file and get several image files from it?
I have the full creative suite but can't open this file.
It's a CAD type of file that my cousin wants images of to scratch build a 3d model from
As I have photoshop I can print most image files or convert them to jpg for him

As always any help appreciated

It's a 3d cad file. I can open them on Monday if required. Anyone with solidworks will be able to open them too.

Go to the Solidworks site, Dassault Systèmes SOLIDWORKS Corp. and download their free e drawings software you should be able to manipulate the files ok with that.

E drawing or draftsight should work. They may also be free download.

Draftsight is a very good free drawing package.

I have solidworks at home if you want me to do it.

edrawings no longer supports STEP, annoyingly.

Fire it here and I'll spit out some views (currently CADing).
