Source for silencer strap?
I picked up a used silencer for the MK at Stoneleigh and need a decent polished stainless strap to go round it and mount to the car. I haven't
managed to find anywhere selling them large enough for the silencer though.....6" diameter. Any ideas/links?

Thanks....Yeah I saw them, but £8 with postage for a pretty rough looking strap isn't really working for me

They would polish up easily. The problem seems to be that nice Bling straps are not made for 6" silencers

I bought 3 of the largest bike ones I could, then cut and welded them to make them big enough.

Description
Can just about see them in that pic, also used the rubber they supplied between silencer and strap.
I fitted one each end of the silencer,as I felt one was not going to be strong enough.

What about mounting either end on the entry / exit pipe rather than the silencer itself?

I bought 2 off that Ebay seller last week. He did them for £3 each. Quick wipe over with Autosol and I think they look ok:-
