Hi

Looks very interesting, it'll be a fun project.

Only thing I'd ensure is that the Build meets the UK specifications too - roll hoop being the obvious bit (Major issue in UK clubby motorsport at the minute) this needs to be 42.4mm tube with a 2.6mm wall thickness or the standard imperial equivalent with twin backstays of 26mm or 1 inch - all from low carbon CDS.

The trackdays you'll be able to run it at might be a bit thin on the ground but it should be eligible for Monoposto and sprints / hillclimbs too.
It might be worth considering dropping it to a ZX10 rather than the ZX12 as the class structure in both of the above see's the ZX12 in no mans land, hills is up to 1100 then 1101 to 1600, Monoposto is up to 1000, then 1001 to 1400
Or you could upgrade to a ZX14 of course

Bear in mind that it'll be devastatingly quick, nothing else you'd come across on most trackdays would get even close, even with mudwings nailed on!

Bear in mind that many/most trackdays aren't allowing single seaters or open wheels.

Don't know if either of these threads might help

Link 1

Link 2

Or, alternatively I have a no. of second hand or slight second Furore bodypanels that might save a lot of fabrication

Make sure you keep us updated on the build

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

I do feel you will struggle to find anywhere to run it unless competively, I have never been on a track day where open wheels have been allowed apart from Lyden hill 12 years ago and that was class runs, 15 minutes per hour.

This put paid to my ambition for a single seater.

So put a set of wheel arches on, I've run the Furore at a track day without a problem
