Lusomotors RCC MK1 seat - anyone here fitted it in Westfield SEiw or MNR Vortx ?
Hi, I am looking for the users of the seat MK1 lusomotors :

who fitted it to the wide (SEiW) Westfield or MNR Vortx - trying to choose STD or XL version, looks like the XS could be a liitle to wide on the
basis, or - maybe just fit in those cars? maybe someone here fitted one and can share experience ?

A friend has a pair and they are very well made.
However I don't think Lusso are trading anymore

Yes, I have no doubt regarding the quality.
Just dont know how which size fits, the Friend of You has MK1 XL or STD size ? in Westfield SEiW or othe car ?
I think they are working, just had an emailcoversation with Ernesto from Lusomotors, just he has a lot of orders so maybe not always he can response
quicly.

Has anyone (in the UK) received seats from Luso Motors this year - since the end of the transition period at all? I was on the verge of ordering a
pair of the mk1 seats but am concerned over the potential additional costs of VAT, import duties and handling fees etc.
Anyone ordered any car parts from Europe in 2021 at all?

I have just placed an order for some MK1 XL seats from Ernesto via email. They are going into a Luego Velocity XT and am expecting them to be tight
with the 430mm bottom front edge diameter. Ill let you know how it goes if it is of any use to you.
Regards them still ordering and them trading.... Yes they are, give Ernesto an email. He is very pleasant to deal with and responds very quickly with
what ever questions you have. He estimated a three week delivery time if you are having the Line X treatment and a little less if not.
If you are ordering them to the UK, then you don't pay the 23% on top of the price. However expect to pay the import duty tax when they arrive
at the UK borders.
Hope that helps. Ill be doing a little review with lots of pics when they arrive! Cant wait.

Just wanted to let You know - just recived from Lusomotors a pair of their MK1 seats and a set of mounting brakets.
Shorthly - great quality visualy and veeeeeery stiff back and sides, the finish I ordered is glossy and is smooth glossy one can see the quality is
superior.
Seats are not the lightest ones , but the weight is known in the datasheet on before order.
Mounting brackets - very solid.
I have ordered standart , not "XL" version, based on measurements as the XL version wold barely fit and if - there will be problems with
proper seatbelts routing especialy in MNR with big gear on prophaft for the reverse protruding from tunnel.
So the standart for a rather big driver (190cm / 100 kg / 36" waist (ekhm maybe little more) are rather "fit" if not thight. The
sides are very stiff not deformating even slightly lik in my Westfield GRP seat ( such one :

In which I am comfortable and the dimensions are rather similar , but this seat hat more how tio say it... open sides .
Even if not for me for longer driving, I keep those for passenger occasional drive and maybe for son who is young and thinner And try to make an
foam racing seat for my shape .
Anyway - contact with Ernesto from Lusomotors, his advices, packaging, and above all - quality of those seats are great. There was little delay but I
understand They have a lot of orders. Dont know how now are the shippment issueas from Eu to UK. From Portugal to Poland it was 100E (for two seats
in one packgage)
I was trying to reach JK Composites as they seems to offer more different dimmensions seats models and with more open sides on the seat part, but
could not reach the company either by phone or email .
