Random Music with Media Player?

Is there any easy way to get Media PLayer (latest version) to just randomly play all the music in 'My Music' ???

Add all the music to your media library. the hit play, then go to the play menu, click shuffle. Alternatively start playing and press ctrl+h.

But....I agree with Hellfire...use Winamp, its much much much better. Absolutly no comparison actually. Its free too...

Heres the direct download link...if you are really lazy! (4.36Mb)

And then when you're all done with Winamp - move on to Foobar - even better!

Foobar?

Foobar ??? Besides having a stupid name ( ) it's got half the potential of Winamp... plugins, skins, audio effects, visuals... the list goes on! Quite a few DJ's around, use Winamp and R4 visualizer for those hallucinogenic effects you see in todays modern bars and stuff. Winamp - you won't be sorry!

When you get Winamp, also get the MilkDrop visualisation plugin.

One way of testing out your PC's graphics capabilities...winamp visualizer.

Set it on the highest res your screen will do, turn off pixel doubling, slide the quality/speed slider upto max quality and see how many FPS you can get....I am betting not much more than 10...

There are some very stunning looking visuals on winamp. There are some good plugins as well.

I know...i have fried a Radeon already. (though i think a weekends solid gaming at max res didnt help either...) The 256Mb Geforce FX5600 is holding up better tho

What hardware are you running Hellfire...With everything at max I get about 15fps, with pixel doubling I get 30 easy enough. And i have an XP3000+, 768Mb ram, 256Mb Gefore FX5600...running on XP Pro.

My favourite

Justin-the landscape is killing me. Don't watch it if you are prone to epilepsy though.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
