MP3 creator software

Can anybody suggest some software to use on a Win98 laptop to create MP3's from CD

I use this, not sure if its suitable for Win98, but its free and worth a shot. It converts to lots of formats and is generally a pretty good application.

I use Musicmatch to rip CD's it labels the tracks automatically , with several options, it uses an online database for this..........

WINAMP 5... will rip to MP3Pro which is very good. 128 sounds like 196!

Nah - Exact Audio Copy with Lame MP3 encoder is the way to go!! Exact audio copy is excellent software that will make sure what comes of your CD is correct, even if they're scratched, and Lame MP3 will create beautiful variable rate MP3s that sound lossless even on high end equipment. All at the touch of a button and for free!

I use Musicmatch which is a great app. I bought it about 6 years ago and have been getting free upgrades ever since.
