when you install progs they get registered by windows and might not work properly if at all if you move them.

In the Internet Explorer under:
Tools / Internet options / Advanced / Security (bottom of the list - almost) is a box that says empty Temp internet file folder when browser is
closed... Ive ticked mine.
OK, the effect is two fold.
1.
a. You never have a large pile of files filling up your hard disc.
b. you never have corrupted files (part loaded files) that stop some pages from loading properly.
2. It will slow your browsing down as it has to down load the whole page the first time it goes there for each Browser session. However, this is a
VERY minor price pay especially if you are on broadband.
Just my 2d worth.
1. The point of a journey is not to arrive.
2. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
Best Regards

I always set my temp files to about 10mb. You need to have some space. Mainly for pages you look at often, like this site so it comes up quicker.

No - don't delete Internet Exploiter.
Just never ever use it again.

I have a piece of software called System Mechanic 5 which can relocate installed software from one drive to another. Free trial
here.
