Print to pdf file
Completely off car topics, but it is Locost (i.e. free). I have been using this program which lets you print to a pdf file. Quite useful if you want
to save info, e.g. if you have booked or ordered something on the interweb - rather than printing off a piece of paper, you can "print" it
to a pdf file and save it on your PC.
You can also use it to make "photocopies" of physical bits of paper: scan to your PC, then print to a pdf file.
Eek! Sorry - it would help if I included the name of the program! It's Primo PDF and it's available here:

Wots wrong with good old GhostScript & GhostView that have been around for many years, are available for any operating system I can think of
and are truly free open GPL software.
