BitTorrent
Can you download more than one torrent at a time using BitTorrent?
I can just change the queue order but only the top one downloads.
If not what is decent torrent downloading software?
Cheers

I use BitLord and found it very good. I commonly have about 4-5 on the go at any one time....

BitLord works well, download multiple files at the same time, no problems.

I used Azureus myself but now use NNTP (news servers) instead much faster than torrents.

I've used Direct Connect and more specifically the DC++ client for the last few years. I've only recently discovered the RevConnect client
and it is fantastic!
It enables the DC network to download a single file from multiple users and therefore absolutely maxes out your available bandwidth all day long!
4gig file takes around 5 hours on my 2meg connection... Absolutely joy to use.
On the original DC++ you'd have to be lucky or just spend awhile to find a single user with a quick connection, of whom would usually have no
download slots. With RevConnect you can download say at 2kb/sec from multiple users to give you maximum bandwidth. torrents use a similar principal
but I find very rarely that I can get anywhere near max bandwidth...

Cheers Ill give a BitLord a go, for some reason it wont let me download more than 1 at a time. Also it sometimes says its behind a firewall, sometimes
Norton pops up and asks if i want to allow the script and then its fine, but apart from that its quite slow.
Might give this direct connect a go, i tried DC++ before and like you never really found anything.
