Anyone any good with XBMC???

oddly enough ive just installed that this morning. i downloaded the XBMC.2005-12-06-CLEAN off torrent sites and all was set up and working. looks
gorgeous and now the 'box has a new job as a media player 
as for solving problems on an existing install, i have no idea..

I'ev got it all working fine.
Struggling to connect to my PC via my router.
XBMP does it fine and still does.
XBMC doensn't want to!

How do I clear the cache in X, Y & Z - just delete with my FTP?
