Free AVG problems
I'm having a bit of a blonde moment recently regarding the FREE AVG I have... the internal virus database is not being updated by the AVG
internet server so is indicating my virus definitions need updating. Considering my old database is now 126 days old without an update yet everything
IS up to date. Can anyone spread any light onto this or is it just me?
All other updates are recent and working correctly... odd or me?

They did do a major upgrade late last year - might be worth downloading a fresh version.

Back to the future, it's like deja-vu all over again.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Stick neutron on http://keir.net/neutron.html
runs with any version of windows set to set the clock when windows starts.
If you want something more sophisticated that runs as an NT/Xp service I point you in the way of other free stuff.
