forum slow ? -- browser IPV6 problem (Firefox)

I have posted this tip before but if you are running Firefox or variant of Mozilla

in the addres bar type ---
about:config
then hit return

The config editor should now appear.

"Then in the "filter" box type

ipv6

Then hit "return"

You should now see the line "network.dns.disableIPv6 userset boolean true" selected.

Use right mouse buto to toggle the value to "false" , then restart Firefox.

Mines already set to false, but the forum is still on occasion rather slow. (Its ok at the moment though)

Just seems slow when theres high volumes of traffic

back-up

think its slow during the overnight backup
sequince...maybe it also does some times a recycle backup wich means a restart of the complete backup sequence (will generate high server loads and possb. bandwith load)

Offcourse only if their are backups sheduled...
