ebay problem

i bought an item from a seller on ebay.
I tried to pay through marketplace but it didn't work. so i logged straight into paypal and paid it like that.

I have had numerous emails from the seller and from ebay stating that they take a hard line with non-payers and threatening to suspend my account.

I have emailed both the seller and ebay explaing I have a paypal receipt but they threat mails keep coming. what else can I do? i have 100% feedback and don't want to lose that

the item only cost £4

This sounds pretty dodgy to me. I've paid this way lots of times. You should have the paypal receipt which is proof enough and particularly so as Paypal is an Ebay company. Sounds like you're getting a lot of hassle for such a small item.

Have you checked that the money actually left your account though?

Don't be fooled into paying again or providing any further payment/account details though.

Try the paypal resolution centre, they have a link for suspected fraud. Could be overkill but worth a go.
