Camera
I have just bought a kodak digital camera, I would like to use adobe photoshop.
When i attach the camera to the USB port and try to find it on the PC , nothing.
It atomatically opens easyhare, a kodak software, but i dont like it and would like to use another programm but i cant seem to get the pc to recognise
the camera when i search under "my computer".
I cant find a driver when i try to add hardware either. Even the kodak website doesent seem to offer a driver .
Its classed as a semi pro camera, so surly I must be able to access the SD cards memory.
Do i need to buy a card reader?
Is it me or has kodak just made it impossible to use another imaging software.

When I plug my Kodak in, it appears as an external disc alongside the other disc drives.

Have a look in explorer under 'my computer' and you will probably find it as a removeable drive

Not sure about your problem, but from experience of using canon d'slrs card readers are much faster to download than direct camera/pc usb links
anyway.

If it's not that easy - its not really a 'any pro' camera at all. Kodak were good when they brought out The Brownie, since then they
are way behind!
I sense a lack of research there...
