Audio streaming capture
Does anyone know of any software which can capture an audio download from the internet - specifically a BBC Radio programme using the "listen
again" feature. As a locostbuilder I, of course, don't want to pay for the program - found some that fit in that category!

Windows sound recorder will work, but can be a pain if you want a long recording.
To get it to record the speaker output, open the big volume control from Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Entertainment
Then go to Options -> Properties
Click Adjust volume for Recording, and check Mix (I think its mix, can't check while I'm at work), then click OK. Then make sure the box
labelled Select under Mix is ticked and the volume isn't right at the bottom. Press record on sound recorder and that should be that.

you can use windows movie maker to record sound using the narration feature. Depending on your soundcard u have to set it to "what i hear"
(sound blaster) or mix as stated above, or something along those lines such as master output etc.
(this comes as part of XP, but only from SP1 onwards IIRC)
